Does not work.

This did not work AT ALL. Within half a day I smelled as bad as I would have without any deodorant at all. So disappointing. First you change the spray formula rendering a perfect product completely useless; now I try an alternative and it is equally useless. After years using your brilliant spray I am having to leave your products and go to your competitors.

Unscented deodorant stick

Since going through menopause I found my regular deodorant that id used for years had stopped working. I tried a couple of other brands of natural deodorant which worked temporarily but then they started to make my underarms very red and sore. I saw Salt of the Earth on social media and reached out to them to enquire about their sensitivity. They recommended that i try their Unscented deodorant stick and kindly sent a sample of it to try. That was over a month ago and I have had no problems with the product at all. No body odour and no sore underarms! Love this product as it really works and would highly recommend it. I'm hoping over time I might be able to try some of their scented refills as the scents look lovely. I really like that you can purchase a refill too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Unscented Natural Deodorant Stick

Our refillable stick cases can be refilled again and again, and you can pick a different scent each time. In the case, twist the base to wind the stick up. The refills come in a cardboard tube you can also use on its own: just push the stick up from the base as you go. Shop stick refills.

Not always, and ours isn't across the board. Our sprays, roll-ons and crystals contain potassium alum, a mineral salt that contains aluminium. It isn't the aluminium chlorohydrate used in antiperspirants, but it is an aluminium salt, so we don't call those products aluminium-free. Our sticks and balms are aluminium-free: they use bicarbonate of soda instead of potassium alum.

Any cosmetic can irritate someone's skin, natural or not. If you get redness or itching, stop using it. Some people find bicarbonate of soda doesn't agree with them. It's in our sticks and balms but not in our sprays, roll-ons or crystals, so those are worth trying instead. If your skin is sensitive, try a small patch test first, and don't put deodorant on broken skin.

None of them are: anyone can wear any of our scents, so go with the one you like. If you'd like a starting point, men most often choose Vetiver & Citrus, Amber & Sandalwood, Oud & Bergamot or Unscented, and women most often choose Lavender & Vanilla, Peony Blossom, Clary Sage & Mint or Unscented.

Yes. We make an unscented version of every format: refillable roll-on, refillable spray, stick, balm and crystal.
