Salt of the Earth is an independent, family-run British business. We've been making natural deodorants in our UK factory since 1993, and we introduced our first refillable deodorant back in 2013 — long before refilling became a trend. Along the way we've picked up over 77 industry awards, including two King's Awards for Enterprise (International Trade 2025 and Sustainable Development 2026) — the highest honour a British business can receive.
We're still family-owned and fully independent. We still make nearly everything in Hampshire. And we still think the best thing you can do with a good bottle is keep it and refill it.
Refill, Don't Replace
Every Salt of the Earth spray, roll-on and stick is designed to be refilled — with the exact same COSMOS Natural certified formula, 100% natural origin ingredients, independently verified by the Soil Association.
Our roll-on and spray pouch refills use up to 85% less plastic - compared to standard bottles of equivalent volume.
Natural deodorant spray refills — 500ml bottles (up to 5 refills) and 300ml pouches (up to 3 refills).
Roll-on deodorant refills — 525ml bottles (up to 7 refills) and 225ml pouches (up to 3 refills).
Deodorant stick refills — cardboard-packaged refills for our reusable stick cases.
