Salt of the Earth at the Wholefoods Wholesale Supplier Summit 2024: A Recap of Our Trip to Dublin

Last week, Sara (our wonderful office manager) and I [Thomas] touched down in Dublin for the Wholefoods Wholesale Supplier Summit 2024. Since it was our first time in Ireland, we couldn’t resist ticking off a classic tourist move—a half pint of Guinness each to ease into things! 🍻 With summit prep done and our Guinness glasses half full, we were ready for the big event.

Before diving into the summit, we took the opportunity to explore some of our products in the wild. We visited a Holland & Barrett store and a Nourish store in Dublin, and it was fantastic to see a wide range of our Salt of the Earth natural deodorants displayed on their shelves. Seeing our products out there, available for customers, is always a proud moment for us!

Wholefoods Wholesale Supplier Summit: A Successful Event!

The summit itself was an incredible experience. We had the chance to meet so many amazing brands, including the teams from Good Good, Otherly, and Lilly's Eco Clean who were right next to us. It’s always inspiring to be surrounded by brands that share a passion for natural products.

We were thrilled to connect with retailers, many of whom already knew and loved Salt of the Earth. Several mentioned that they were eager to expand their range of our deodorants because they’ve been fast sellers in their stores. Hearing feedback like this from retailers is what makes attending these events so rewarding!

At our stand, we set up a special scent station where attendees could experience the freshness of our natural deodorants firsthand. 🌱 The Ocean & Coconut fragrance was a particular hit, with people loving its light, tropical scent. 🥥 Another standout was the refreshing Clary Sage & Mint, which also caught the attention of many attendees with its invigorating and herbaceous aroma. 🌿

We also received fantastic feedback on our refillable roll-ons, which impressed retailers looking for sustainable and eco-friendly product options.

One of the best parts of the summit was hearing directly from retailers who are already stocking our products. Learning that our deodorants are flying off the shelves and making a positive impact with their customers was incredibly encouraging.

We also enjoyed catching up with old friends like the lovely A.Vogel team, always a highlight at these events!

Dublin’s Charm and Final Toasts

After the summit wrapped up, Sara and I couldn’t leave Dublin without one final toast. We celebrated a successful event with—you guessed it—a final pint of Guinness (a full pint for me and, once again, a half pint for Sara 😉). It felt like the perfect way to cap off a whirlwind trip of networking, learning, and representing Salt of the Earth.

Leaving Dublin, we felt energised and excited for what’s to come, and we’re already looking forward to the next event. 🍀

Looking Forward

Attending events like the Wholefoods Wholesale Supplier Summit is invaluable for us as a brand. Not only do we get to introduce more people to our sustainable, eco-friendly products, but we also hear directly from retailers about how well our products are performing. It was fantastic to learn that our deodorants are fast sellers, and that many retailers are eager to increase their stock of Salt of the Earth products.
