Charity Update – December Buy One, Gift One!

We wanted to get in touch & give you an update on the “Buy one, Gift one” promotion which we had running during December last year – where for every deodorant brought on our website we gifted one on your behalf to Eastleigh Basics Bank in Hampshire! 

Eastleigh Basics Bank, set-up by the churches of Eastleigh, provides short-term support to those experiencing financial difficulty through the provision of food and hygiene products. They offer a mix of tins, packets and boxed food, as well as fresh produce when available and try to meet special dietary requirements as much as their limited stock allows. The food is mostly donated by the generous people of Eastleigh and the surrounding area, as well as a couple of local supermarkets. The team of volunteers provide a friendly atmosphere and a cup of tea and a chat while preparing food parcels. 

We took the first load over just before Christmas & a few weeks ago when the weather was finally nice enough for us to go back & take the second load.  

 We want to say a massive thank you to our lovely customers for helping us to be able to give back to our local community in this difficult time! In fact, we are so blown away by your response as well as by the Basic Bank letting us know that deodorants are one of their core needs - we have decided to keep donating on behalf of us all.  

We hope this little feel good message will help you to feel just a little bit of love and warmth this January!
