Well, this is awkward. As one of the UK's leading natural deodorant brands, you'd think we'd have Deodorant Day marked on our calendars with flashing lights and alarm bells. But here we are, caught with our metaphorical arms down, having completely missed the celebration of the very product we've dedicated the last 30 years to perfecting.

The Irony of Forgetting Deodorant Day

If forgetting Deodorant Day were like forgetting to apply deodorant, we'd be the equivalent of that person on the packed tube during a summer heatwave who suddenly realises they've made a terrible morning oversight. (We've all been there, no judgment.)

But the good news about being late to your own party? The celebrations can start whenever you want! So consider this our belated "Happy Deodorant Day" to all our wonderful customers who keep choosing natural freshness, day after day.

What Even IS Deodorant Day?

Let's be honest – Deodorant Day isn't exactly up there with Christmas or Easter in the calendar of celebrated occasions. You won't find Deodorant Day cards at your local card shop or special Deodorant Day bunting to hang up all over your house.

But perhaps that's exactly why we should be celebrating it more enthusiastically. After all, deodorant is that quiet, unsung hero of our daily routines. It doesn't ask for attention – in fact, its entire job is to ensure you don't get unwanted attention for all the wrong fragrant reasons.

A Brief History of How We Got Here

Since 1993, we've been on a mission to revolutionise the humble deodorant. What started as a small family business (still family-owned and operated by Thomas, with mum Sally who bought the business in 2005, and dad Stuart providing strategic wisdom) has grown into an award-winning brand with the widest range of natural deodorant formats and fragrances in the world.

From our factory in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire, we've been quietly creating COSMOS Natural certified deodorants that have amassed an impressive 57 awards. Not that we're counting... okay, we definitely are counting, and we're quite chuffed about it.
