Our UK manufactured products are certified by the Soil Association, COSMOS Natural; meaning we use only 100% natural origin ingredients approved to the rigorous, third-party standard of COSMOS.

At Salt of the Earth, we're proud to be a Certified B Corporation (B Corp). This means we've met rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. B Corps are businesses that balance purpose and profit, committing to consider the impact of their decisions on all stakeholders - including workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. It's like a badge of honour that says, "We're in business for good!". Our B Corp Impact Score is 81.8 and we've been certified since March 2025.

Because "vegan-friendly" should mean more than just good intentions, all of Salt of the Earth's product formulations are certified by The Vegan Society. That means every ingredient and process is thoroughly checked to meet their strict vegan standards - no animal-derived ingredients, no animal testing, and no compromises.

Salt of the Earth believes that beauty products should be cruelty free. We are proud to be Leaping Bunny approved. A global programme, Leaping Bunny requires cruelty free standards over and above legal requirements.

We believe a hard day's work deserves a fair day's pay. That's why we're accredited by the Living Wage Foundation, committing to pay the real Living Wage. This voluntary rate is based on the actual cost of living and is higher than the government's minimum wage, ensuring our employees can meet everyday needs like the weekly shop or an unexpected trip to the dentist.

We manufacture our spray, roll-on, stick and balm deodorants in our own UK factory in Hampshire, giving us full control over every stage of production. Our adherence to ISO 22716 - the international standard for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the cosmetics industry - ensures that our products are consistently produced and controlled according to strict quality standards.
