Say hello to Aloe & Lime, the newest fragrance to join Salt of the Earth's range of natural deodorants, launching on 24 September 2026. It is a bright, unisex, citrus scent, available in a refillable spray and a refillable roll-on at £7.49 RRP each. Like the rest of our sprays and roll-ons, it is made at our own factory in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire, and certified 100% COSMOS Natural by the Soil Association.

What does Aloe & Lime smell like?

Crisp, citrusy and fresh. Aloe & Lime opens with a zesty burst of citrus and green freshness, before softer hints of vanilla and clove round things off. Think freshly sliced lime with a warm, subtly spiced finish, only for your armpits. It is easy to wear, works for everyone, and sits happily in the fresh, green corner of our fragrance wardrobe.

Is Aloe & Lime a natural deodorant?

Yes. Salt of the Earth is a family owned British brand, founded in 1993 and still independent today, with no outside investors. Sally Laird bought the business in 2005 and her son Thomas has been Managing Director since 2008. We make our sprays and roll-ons at our own factory in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.

Aloe & Lime uses the same award-winning formula behind the rest of our sprays and roll-ons: made with 100% natural origin ingredients, certified 100% COSMOS Natural by the Soil Association, Vegan Society approved and Cruelty Free International approved. The fragrance comes from natural essential oils and botanical extracts, and the formula is made with aloe vera. Natural mineral salts help tackle odour-causing bacteria without blocking pores. We are also a certified B Corporation and a Living Wage employer, and we have won 78 industry awards to date, including two King's Awards for Enterprise: International Trade in 2025 and Sustainable Development in 2026.

How do the refills work?

Buy the spray once, then top it up instead of buying a new bottle each time. Pop off the cap, unscrew the nozzle and pour in your chosen refill. The 300ml Refill Pouch tops up your spray up to three times and uses up to 85% less plastic than buying three new sprays (based on packaging weight). The 500ml Refill Bottle goes further, refilling up to five times and using up to 70% less plastic than five new sprays (based on packaging weight).

Refills are not exactly new to us. We launched one of the UK's first refillable spray deodorant systems back in 2013, long before it was fashionable, and today the refill range spans sprays, roll-ons and sticks. Across the years those refills have replaced around 2.3 million bottle equivalents, part of the reason we have sold over 10 million natural deodorants in more than 35 countries since 1993.

Our factory runs on renewable electricity, and it has done since 2020. In April 2026 we added 126 solar panels to the roof, estimated to provide around 45% of the factory's electricity across a full year, and covering roughly 70% of our daytime electricity use directly in sunny months like May and June 2026. So your new citrus deodorant is made with a good chunk of Hampshire sunshine.
