Inside our Factory

We started manufacturing our own products back in 2009 when we were a small home based business. At the time we used to make our spray deodorant in small tea urns in the kitchen of our family home. Unfortunately, at the time we were too embarrassed to take photo’s, but now we really wish we had documented that fun and crazy time.

As the business has grown, we have invested in our manufacturing capabilities and now have two packing lines and cold and hot fill production vessels. Industrial machinery is often bespoke and you don’t get much in the way of training so we had to teach ourselves as we went. I can still vividly remember the day our first 200 litre vessels was delivered. It was a beauty, shiny, stainless steel machine but we had absolutely no idea how to use it (Industrial equipment very rarely comes with instructions, or plugs!). We had to teach ourselves how to get the best out of the machines and design all our own process.

Skip forward to today and we have two filling lines made especially for deodorants. One for roll-ons, sprays and refills and one for balms and stick deodorants.

Our factory is certified to ISO 22716:2007 and the COSMOS Natural Standard. Our factory is run using 100% renewably sourced electricity.
